The Reward
Okay, Okay, So’ve you guys seen The Reward yet? I KNEW I recognised SOMETHING about the style of the characters and the really economical but extremely elegant style of animation.
Well, turns out Kenneth Ladekjer, one of the main animators on that, and I used to be buddies waaay back in the deviantart days when he went by the handle “Quaro”, like, five or seven years ago when I first started animating in easytoon. We collabbed on this little duel thing- never finished it, just too ambitious for me- though I think he could have coped. He was amazing even then. Very distinctive sense of economy, and his spacing was always beautiful. Was even more impressive pouring over it one frame at a time. I’m really glad he’s done so well with his animation, and it pushes me to make something amazing too!
